Prayer is an essential activity for all Christians, and so Hope Church gives it high priority providing regular opportunity for people to engage.
For those around during the day, a prayer meeting is held every Wednesday at 10am. This regularly starts with worship and the use of the prophetic is encouraged alongside praying for the church and specific needs that arise.
We also hold an evening prayer meeting on the second Tuesday of the month at 8pm. This enables the whole church to gather and seek God for key needs surrounding individuals, the church, our community as well as national and international matters.
Should urgent prayer needs arise during the week, there is also opportunity to send requests into the office so that these can be passed on to a prayer chain and given focused attention.
On top of this people are encouraged to develop their own active prayer life as part of becoming mature Christians. Some in the church seek out friends and pray with them during the week as and when it suits them.
